A prehistoric adventure in
the cinema Imax
Thanks to the project „Super school”, financed by EFS students of 4-6 classes from the primary school in Laskowa watch a documentary film „Dinosaurs are alive” in the cinema Imax in Cracow. Excellent sound and a three- dimensional picture enabled to find out more about history of Earth’s masters at that time. After watching the film the students took part in palaeontological classes.
06.03.2008 In search of duchess Daisy
Students of 4-6 classes from the primary school in Laskowa went to Pszczyna to visit an old mansion of Hochberg family. A castle museum in Pszczyna made an impression on students. Impresive chambers, living rooms, galleries, a private library, a representative staircase resembled one in Wersal took their breath away. The guide informed the students that the castle in Pszczyna belongs to unique museums this type in our part of Europe which kept rich, historic furnishings. The last visited place was an Armoury hidden in the underground of castle.

29.02.2008 A music festival
Young musicians supervised by Ms Bogusława Baluś prepared some small spirit treat for their friends. They used their knowledge and skills gained thanks to the program ’Super School’. We had a chance to hear different musical compositions in an instrumental and vocal version. There were pieces of poetry as well.

02.2008 A school club of curious students
Young researches took the science problems willingly. They were very interested in taking part in outside classes (surroundings of the school, the forrest, on the river). They could have used knowledge and skills in practice then.

26.02.2008 In Wieliczka

This time, thanks to the program „Super school” the youngest students of our
school went to the salt mine in Wieliczka. They were told legends connected with
this place. What is more, they admired beautiful salt chambers and some
sculptures.

15.02.2008 Royal Wawel
Students of the primary school in Laskowa and their carers visited Wawel. Younger children met the history of Cracow by famous Cracovian legends. Elder children found out sth more about every day life of castle’s inhabitants (the king and his court officials). The classes took place in chambers of a ground, first and second floor as well as in the Treasury.

13.02.2008 In the Technical Museum
Students of 0-III classes from the primary school in Laskowa visited the Technical Museum of Cracow, where they had a chance to see old vehicles- old cars, motocycles, a coach, the first tram as well as to meet their history. After museum classes the students experienced unforgetable moments making phisical experiments based on proper instructions. Children could have seen working of a mill- wheel and how electric current was carried as well as studied magnetic properties. After that, they participated in classes showing paper’s production.

01.2008 Language competitions
In January our students had a chance to show their knowledge and language skills. They fought with their friends from a primary school in Grodzisko in the competition „A small German”. The level was matched which made both students and teachers happy. A competition „A small English” was very popular with the students as well. They waited for results and books prizes impatiently.
19.01.2008 IIIrd Community Festival of Nativity plays in Podolsze
Members of the Theatre Club, which was created thanks to the project „Super School”, prepared the Nativity play „From the high sky”. The play took the second place in the competition.

09.01.2008 Learning by fun
Thanks to the project „Super School” financed by EFS students of the primary school in Laskowa went for a trip to the Technical Museum in Cracow. The aim of the trip was to see exhabitions „Playing with science”, „History of the polish motor transport” and to participate in special classess.

19.12.2007 Tell me the story…
Thanks to the project „Super school” students showed their chatty skills. Each of participants told the legend. Jury chose the winners who got wonderful prizes (books).

11.12.2007 Meeting with „Bolek i Lolek”
Thanks to the project „Super School” financed by EFS students of the primary school in Laskowa went for a trip to the Cartoon Studio in Bielsko Biała, where famous cartoons like „Bolek and Lolek”, „Reksio” were created. They had an unique opportunity to find out about stages of cartoon’s creating.

05.12.2007 First time in the operetta
The students of the primary school in Laskowa went to watch the operetta „Puss in Boots” to the Musical Theatre in Gliwice. Unusual scenery, wonderful, colourful costumes and professional performed music fragments using chamber orchestra made children fascinated with that performance.

28.11.2007 The earliest history of human
Thanks to the project „Super School” financed by EFS the students of the primary school in Laskowa participated in the next educational trip, this time to the Muzeum of Ethnography in Chrzanów. The visit in the Museum started with classes for students. They met history of the region watching a wonderful collection of pottery, weapon, iron ornaments which derived from excavations.
25.11.2007 Dancing contest in our community
A great winner in a primary school category in this contest became „Angels group”. This dancing group is acting at the primary school in Laskowa thanks to the program „Super School”.

31.10.2007 Puppet competition was finished
Puppet competition was finished. Jury had a big problem to choose a winner, because all works were inventive and impressive. After a stormy debate the winners were chosen. They got prizes (wonderful books) thanks to „Super School” – the program financed by EFS.

30.10.2007 Memories from the trip

In October the competition for the best report from the trip took place as well. The winners were Aneta Jakubowska and Justyna Brańka.

29.10.2007 A visit in the teatre
Unusual experience for the students from Laskowa was a trip to the Puppet Theatre „Banialuka” in Bielsko Biała. They took that opportunity thanks to the „Super School”- the program financed by EFS. Young spectators certainly don’t forget a performance „Snow Queen”, in which enormous, human-sized puppets appeared next to the actors.

11,15.10.2007 Visiting Radio and TV
The students of the primary school in Laskowa took part in an ussual trip to Radio Cracow. They saw there in what way programs in this one of the oldest regional radio station in the country were making. Couple days later the students were guests in TV Cracow.

15.10.2007 Girls-winners
Thanks to the project „Super School” financed by EFS girls from the Small School of Football trained by Piotr Balonek proved to be excellent footballers. They took the first place.

28.09.2007 Recognize animal of the world
The youngest students of our school took part in the autumn meeting with wild animals in Cracow Zoo. Thanks to the program financed by EFS some of them for the first time saw ostriches, bisons, panthers and tigers.

27.09.2007 Interschool Football League
In the warm afternoon footballers from the Small School of Football and their loyal fans met on the playing field in Laskowa. The footballers had an opportunity to demonstrate their football skills during the match with students from Spytkowice, who were invited by our instructor. The winners of the match were guests but in spite of that the fun was really great.

14.09.2007 In the Botanic Garden
Thanks to the project „Super School”, our students visited the Botanic Garden in Cracow. They saw there not only plants popular in Poland but also quite exotic ones.

12.09.2007 Underground struggle in the Salt Mine in Bochnia

Thanks to the program financed by EFS the students took part in a full of suprises trip around the underground of the Salt Mine in Bochnia participating in the struggle in which knowledge and skills were needed.

9-10.07.2007 The Land of Eagle’s Nest
Thanks to a project „Super School” our students experienced unforgetable moments among ruins and castles of the Piast’s Trail. They saw not only part of history but also had a contact with natural phenomena like a rock called Club of Hercules (Maczuga Herkulesa). They wandered across the Ojcow National Park watching rare pieces of plants and rocks.

09-10.07.2007 A Trip to Pilzno
On the 19 of June Students from primary school went on a trip to Pilzno to Doll Museum as a part of the development scheme “Super School”. Students could watch spectacle “Polish legends”. They could see dolls from different periods and different parts of the world. Next point of the trip was to see how the dolls are made. Third part of the trip was the sightseeing the mini heritage park. Students could see there mythical garden and the village where the Reymont’s “Chłopi” took place. Each building there is the miniature of the original and people are beautifully made dolls.

14.06.2007 We play not only on a playing field
In our “Super School” students are playing not only on a playing field but also in a class. Thanks to EFS that bought for students from primary school chromatic bells and flutes we could open Music Club which is led by Bogusława Baluś. Students during this classes are learning the “music alphabet” and doing rhythmical exercises. It is a great way not only to spend a free time but also to intensify musical skills.

13.06.2007 With a smile on a playing field
The Members of Football School and Volleyball School from both school in Laskowa went on a playing field to practice with a bigger smile than ever. The cause of it were new outfits given by EFS as a [art of the development scheme “Super School” As for now 26 students from a primary school and 30 students from a junior high school were given the new outfits.

11.06.2007 “Core of history” and “Direction – Stars”
Thanks to development scheme “Super School” organized by TOZCH and founded by EFS students could go on a trip to the Nadwiślański Ethnographic Park in Wygiełzów to see how people lived in the past and feel like people from the past because they could do some work in a way that it was done in he past.
Second trip was to the Planetarium and Observatory of M. Kopernik in Chorzów. During the two hours of classes students had chance to see how the sky is changing during the day and night and in different seasons of the year. They also learned the directions of he world and different parts of the sky.

11.05.2007 Callan method. We are practicing English
11 May was
the first day of the English course organized as a part of the development
scheme “Super School”. Callan method is used in many schools all over the world.
This method is based on very intensive conversation. There is no homework. The
aim of this course is to understanding 180 words per minute because this is the
natural speed of speaking in the mother language.
The course is steered by Przemysław Murzyn, a tutor from the School of Foreign
Languages “Awans” from Rzeszów.
